Eleven Petes Taking Part in NHL Development Camps This Week

Following the conclusion of the 2017 NHL Draft in Chicago, eleven current Petes are taking part in NHL Development Camps over the next few weeks, along with one recently graduated player and multiple Petes prospects.

Development camps offer new and returning draftees, as well as free agents, a taste of NHL-level hockey and players an opportunity to showcase themselves in hopes of receiving an invitation to the teams’ main camps in September.

The following players have received invites to development camps either as a draftee or free agent:

Recent Petes graduate Steve Lorentz will attend the Carolina Hurricanes Development Camp, while prospects Matt Cairns (Edmonton), Cameron Crotty (Arizona), Bobby Dow (Tampa Bay), and Bryce Misley (Minnesota) are expected to attend camps after being selected in their respected drafts or as free agents.
