Josh Maguire wins Civic Award

Josh Maguire was drafted at the young age of 16 by the Peterborough Petes OHL Hockey Club from a very successful term with the Quinte Red Devils AAA Minor Midgets as leading scorer and total points and Asst Captain. He was one of two Canadians chosen to represent North America at the 2012 Lekov Cup tournament in the Czech Republic. While Josh's main athletic focus and success is in hockey, he excels in all sports. He had a successful softball career where the Cobourg Clippers rep softball team went provincial in 2012, and school volleyball where he was MVP 2011-12, and he won many awards in school sports at Cobourg Collegiate West. He also finds time to volunteer for Cobourg Youth Rebound Skate.
