Kawartha Komets Fundraising Game Set for Sunday at 12pm

The Peterborough Petes and Kawartha Komets Special Needs Hockey Team will play their annual fundraising exhibition game this Sunday, January 22 from 12-2pm at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

The game will feature the Saturn (junior), Galaxy (intermediate #1), Meteors (intermediate #2), and Phoenix (senior) Komets teams, who will play against members of the Petes in four separate games on Sunday afternoon.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted at entrances and throughout the game in support of the Komets and their trip to the KIP Friendship Hockey Tournament in Kitchener, and the costs of hosting the Special Hockey International Tournament in Peterborough in March. The Komets hope to raise $6,000 through Sunday’s event.

Before the Komets game on Sunday, cheer on the Petes at the PMC on Saturday night at 7:05pm against the North Bay Battalion.
