Petes Fall to Generals on Sunday night

The Peterborough Petes dropped a 4-1 decision to the Oshawa Generals on Sunday night at the GM Centre.

 

The Generals opened the scoring 3:07 into the game when Tyler Biggs banged in a rebound past Petes goaltender Michael Giugovaz (pictured) for a 1-0 lead after 20 minutes.

 

The Pete stied the game 13:31 into the 2nd peiod on a Chase Hatcher's 4th goal of the season and the teams went to the dressing rooms tied at 1 after 40 minutes.

 

The 3rd period was all Generals as they scored 3 goals including a pair from Scott Sabourin to build a 4-1 lead that was insurmountable for the Petes.  Michael Giugovaz made 48 saves for the Petes, raising another $96 for Saves For CF.  Saves For CF have now raised over $4,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research.
