Petes Players, Alumni Support Score Fore MS Tournament

For the second year in a row, Petes players and alumni proudly supported the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada’s Score Fore MS tournament. The tournament was held Friday, June 9 at the Quarry Golf Club in Ennismore, and included lunch, a silent auction, dinner and prizes.

More than 50 people took part in this year’s event, which has become an annual fundraiser for the MS Society. Current Petes Logan DeNoble and Cole Fraser took part, along with alumni including Assistant Coach Andrew Verner, Dave Lorentz, Brent Tully, Scott Campbell, Jeff Walker, Rob Wilson, Joe Hawley and David Roche.

 

Canada has the highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world. MS is a chronic, often disabling disease of the central nervous system comprising the brain, spinal cord and optic nerve.
