Colts our run Petes 6-2

The Peterborough Petes dropped their final home game of November 6-2 to the Barrie Colts tonight.
The Petes opened the scoring 9:43 into the first period when Luke Hietkamp crashed the net to bang in his first of the season. The Colts evened the score at 11:29when Ryan Strome beat Jason Missiaen from the slot, and then took the lead at 18:25 on a power play goal by Bryan Cameron.
The added to their lead 1:24 into the second period on a goal by Kyle Clifford and increased their lead to 4-1 at 11:14 on Luke Pither's first of the night. The Petes cut the lead to 4-2 when Liam Heelis toe dragged the front of the net to lift the puck over Colts goaltender Peter Di Salvo at 17:39, but that was it for the Petes as the Colts went on to score two third period goals by Pither at 40 seconds and Dalton Prout at 6:15 to make the final 6-2 for the Colts.
The Petes next home game is Thursday December 3rd against the Sudbury Wolves. This game is a $5 student night.
