Tyler Rollo, who has played three games for the Petes this season, was named OJHL Gongshow Gear South-West Conference player-of-the-month for February.

The Oakville Blades forward recorded points in six of the Blades eight games during February, scoring the game-winner in three of six victories to help Oakville capture their first Division title since 2007-08. He totalled seven goals and 13 points in eight games. He registered multiple points in four games including three in a victory in Whitby, in which he notched the winning goal in double-overtime. He had four points in a key conference win over Burlington. Rollo’s five power play points were tops among all West Division players.

He played for Team OJHL Nieuwendyk at the 2015 Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge held in Cornwall. Rollo earned a spot on Team Canada East that finished fourth at the 2015 World Junior A Challenge in Cobourg and Whitby, leading the team in scoring. Rollo’s OHL rights were traded from Barrie to Peterborough and he made his OHL debut, playing three regular season games for the Petes. In Oakville, he more than tripled his offensive production, finishing the season second on the club with 24 goals and fourth in overall scoring with 61 points in 43 games.
