Your Petes are on their way to the home of the Battalion for their second annual Thanksgiving Monday battle with North Bay. Exactly one year ago, the maroon and white skated to a 7-3 road victory as Pavel Gogolev and Adam Timle ck each netted two goals, and Hunter Jones recorded an assist in his OHL debut.

Peterborough is coming off a 3-2 loss in which a comeback effort fell just short. The Hamilton Bulldogs continue to be the only team the Petes haven’t solved this season. North Bay, however, has had five days off since their last game – a 4-3 home win over the Ottawa 67’s.

Each team has relied heavily on their starting goaltender in the early goings of the 2018-19 season, as Jones and Christian Propp have each started in all six of their respective teams’ games.

Three players on each team were first round picks in their respective OHL Priority Selections: Gallant (2015), Gogolev (2016) and Robertson (2017) for the Petes, and Adam McMaster (2016), Brandon Coe (2017), and Pacey Schlueting (2018) for North Bay.
