The Generals were handed their first loss of the season by the Sarnia Sting on Friday night in Oshawa. The Petes defeated the Sting 6-3 on October 11.

After a 32 save performance on Friday night in Ottawa, Hunter Jones is now the league’s top ranked goalie with a 2.57 goals against average and 0.914 save percentage. He and Generals netminder Andrew MacLean are tied for first in wins, with 8 each.

Oshawa’s Oliver Suni and Peterborough’s Mason McTavish are first and second rookie scoring with 12 and 11 points, respectively. McTavish leads in goals with 7, while Suni leads in assists with 10.

Generals’ rookie Dawson McKinney leads the OHL in shooting percentage, having scored 3 goals on 7 shots (42.9%).
