Introducing Thursday Night Live: Win Big Prizes and Get Exclusive Insider Info

Thursday nights are Petes nights, even during a pandemic! Starting Thursday, September 24 at 6:00PM, the Petes are proud to introduce Thursday Night Live, airing for free online every Thursday night this fall. Thursday Night Live will bring the Peterborough community together online, and will include many of the things fans are used to seeing during Petes game nights.

Each episode of Thursday Night Live will feature an exclusive Q&A with special celebrity guests, live Petes trivia, a musical performance, and special features and offers. The free livestreams will include a chat function where fans can engage with each other and the team in real time.

Fans will win prizes each week including Petes merchandise valued at over $500, a free golf foursome from Wolf Run Golf Club, and much more, just like during a typical game night at the Peterborough Memorial Centre.

Each week, one member of the Petes community will win a game worn jersey by pre-registering for Thursday Night Live. By pre-registering, fans can submit questions for Petes Game Night Host, Courtney Bell, to ask to that week’s special guest.

“We want to make fans feel like they are at the PMC while they are sitting on their couch,” said Riley Maracle, Coordinator of Communication and Game Operations. “The pandemic has separated a lot of our fans, and this is going be a great way for fans to enjoy many of the fun things they would normally see at the rink while in the comfort of their own home. We have a few surprises for our die-hard fans, too.”

Thursday Night Live broadcasts will be streamed online around the world, and will run from 6:00-7:30PM on Thursday Sept. 24.  General Manager Mike Oke and musical guest I, The Mountain will kick-off the great line-up of guests this fall. Future guests and musical acts will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Peterborough Petes Season Ticket Members and Return to Play Flex Pack holders will receive priority access to tickets to attend games this season. All ticket packages can be purchased by emailing the Petes or by calling the Petes Office at 705-743-3681.
