Now Hiring: Communication Coordinator

The Peterborough Petes are seeking a Communication Coordinator to help actively drive the team’s brand forward.

Interested applicants can submit their resume, cover letter, and references here by September 23, 2020, referencing the position title in the subject line. All applicants will be contacted to confirm receipt and coordinate next steps, if necessary.

The successful candidate will possess a post-secondary degree or diploma (ideally in communication, media relations, and/or graphic design), a tenacious work ethic, and hunger to help build, promote, and execute a progressive and forward-thinking brand strategy that sets the bar in the sport industry. Tangible graphic design and communication skills are required, but direct experience in hockey is not.

The Petes are striving to make hockey a place in which everyone feels included and welcome. When we say “everyone”, we mean everyone. Accommodations can and will be made throughout the hiring process to ensure all candidates are included equally.

The Petes are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce. Our employees thrive when we get this right. We aim to create a workplace that celebrates the diversity of our team members and our community. We endeavor to build experiences that work for everyone by including perspectives from backgrounds that vary by race, ethnicity, social background, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, veteran status, and national origin.
