Overtime Teacher Program
The Peterborough Petes want to recognize the outstanding efforts of teachers and educational assistants, with the “Overtime Teacher Program” that will run from Tuesday, May 25 – Monday, June 28, 2021.
Each week the Petes will recognize and celebrate one teacher or educational assistant from the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board or Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic School Board who was nominated by a colleague, student, or parent for their extraordinary work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic school year.

Throughout the nomination period, one teacher or educational assistant will be recognized per week for four consecutive weeks from Thursday, May 27 until Thursday, June 15 across the Petes social media channels. The Peterborough community will vote to decide on the ultimate winner for the Overtime Teacher Program from Saturday, June 19 at 8:00 am until Monday, June 21 at 8:00 pm. The winning teacher will receive an amazing Petes prize package that includes a Zoom call with Petes Head Coach Rob Wilson and goaltender Tye Austin for their students and two tickets to the Petes home opener in 2021.
The Petes welcome players, parents and other members of the Peterborough community to nominate deserving teachers and educational assistants by filling out this form.
