Petes Welcome Battalion to PMC on Thursday

The Peterborough Petes will welcome the North Bay Battalion to the Peterborough Memorial Centre for the first team this season on Thursday, November 28 at 7:05pm.

The Petes currently hold first place in the Ontario Hockey League after claiming five of six possible points last weekend, while the Battalion are at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.

Thursday’s game is proudly sponsored by The Wolf 101.5 FM.

The Petes will celebrate Financial Literacy Month with Junior Achievement of Peterborough, Lakeland, Muskoka (JAPLM) who will be recognized during a pre-game ceremony and puck drop.

Petes alumnus Mike Martone will be on hand for the ceremony along with students from his Grade 8 class at Immaculate Conception Catholic Elementary School that will also perform our national anthem.

JAPLM will also host a second intermission chuck-a-puck. Fans that purchase pucks could win a Petes jersey signed by the 2019-20 team or a signed, game-used stick by Petes alumnus Josh Coyle.

Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on gingerbread houses decorated by your Petes and local students. Funds raised will support Operation Christmas Child.

Single game tickets for this and all Petes regular season home games are now on sale at the PMC Grant Thornton Box office in person, by phone at (705) 743-3561, or online. To view the Petes’ full schedule, click here.
