Assistant General Manager - Aaron Garfat

Aaron is responsible for overseeing the business operations of the team while assisting with the day to day hockey operations of the team. He is responsible for Media Relations, Community/Public Relations, Social Media network, Website design and content, Peterborough Petes Insider E-Newsletter as well as organizing team travel, meals & accommodations and heads up the Peterborough Petes Holiday Fun Camp. Aaron has been with the Petes since the 1996-97 season when he started as a Marketing Intern while completing a Diploma in Sports Administration at Durham College. In the 1997-98 season he worked as a part-time assistant to the Director of Marketing & Public Relations before being named to a full-time position in 1999 as the Director of Marketing & Public Relations. In March of 2006 he was promoted to his previous role of Director of Marketing & Sales. Aaron lives in Peterborough with his wife Sue, son Jordan and daughter Carlisle.

Director of Merchandise - Don Sharp

Don joined the Petes Business Operations Team in 2009.  Don is responsible for managing the Petes Souvenir and Merchadise Sales in the Petes Store and the Petes Store online at www.gopetesgo.com. He has over 35 years of retail experience.  Don was instrumental in the Petres Store taking on the sale of Peterborugh Lakers Merchandise as well as creating a Minor Hockey Purchasing Program with the Minor Petes AAA System. Don was raised in Peterborough and is a graduate of Adam Scott collegiate and Fleming College with a Business Retail Diploma. He is well known in the community for his involvement in sports and the Kawartha Rotary Club. Don lives in Peterborough with his wife Jan and has two children Ryan and Jessica

Office Administrator - Cathie Webster

Cathie joined the Petes Business Operations Team in 1993 as the Office Administrator. Cathie's responsibilities include bookkeeping, payroll, travel arrangements for the General Manager, players, and their families, etc. Cathie is a Peterborough native and has one daughter, Melissa.

Sergeant Walter DiClemente - Police/Billet Liaison

Sergeant Walter DiClemente has thirty years of policing experience as a patrol officer, criminal investigator, major case manager, media liaison officer, training officer, professional standards/internal audits investigator, community services officer, crime stoppers coordinator, recruiter and background investigator with the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service. Since 1983, Sergeant DiClemente has been involved with the Peterborough Petes as a billet to 13 Petes players and for the past 14 years as the team’s police liaison officer. As part of his duties with the Petes, Sergeant DiClemente set up a proactive risk management program for the team that has been looked upon as a model program throughout the league. He also had extensive involvement with security during the 1996 Memorial Cup and the 2004 OHL All Star game in Peterborogh.  Married to wife Krista, they have two boys who are actively involved in the local sports community playing hockey, lacrosse and baseball. As an active community volunteer, Sergeant DiClemente presently holds the position of Vice President with the Peterborough Minor Petes “AAA” Zone Hockey Council.
